2019 — Chartered AccountantQualified as a Chartered Accountant and began the professional journey with the objective of building an independent professional practice.

2020 — Prateek Modi & AssociatesStarted professional practice directly after becoming a Chartered Accountant and established the firm in Guwahati, Assam.

2020 — Government & Armed Forces AssignmentsStarted undertaking audit of Non-Public Fund Accounts of Armed Forces and related Government assignments. Since then, the practice has completed 25+ Government / Non-Public Fund audit assignments.

2020 — GeM ConsultancyIntroduced GeM Consultancy as a specialised area. The practice has since served and remained associated with 50+ GeM clients across India.

2020–2026 — Income Tax PracticeGrew from 50+ ITRs in each Assessment Year since 2020 to 300+ ITRs in AY 2026–27.

2024 — Banking & FinanceExpanded significantly into Banking & Finance assignments, including SRA and bank-related professional work.
